Been working on a short film for some students… Sometimes being a filmaker is all about leadership. Having prepared a script, actors, crew, equipment, post-prod facilities and fx  is just not enough… Who’s going to organise and lead this crew in a synergistic manner? It’s no small feat organising all those people and equipmnt for a film-production so why not get the best out of your crew by being as professional and committed as possible….

Either you’re pregnant or you’re not…

B it paid work or just helping a friend pro-bono filmaking is  about, taking personal responsibility and ownership, rather than passing-the-buck and assigning  blame when deadlines arn’t met.

Needless 2 say it was a good oppurtunity to stretch myself and systems and observe their limitations and my tolerence.

That being said…I hope all goes well with the film lads…

Starring:
Jordan Fraser-Trumble, Kyle Kaczmarczyk, Laura Brenko, Josephine Were and Monty
Screenplay By:
Barry Cree
Directed By:
Miles Clothier
Produced By:
Matthias Law
Plot Outline:
Barry is a channel- surfing, junk-food munching, pot-smoking, couch potato and when faced with the death of his best mate he reacts as any out of his head stoner might, using the supernatural to transport the soul of friend into a suitable vessel.

There’s just one problem Barry is fresh out of “suitable vessels” and resorts to the use of a dirty old sock!

“SOCK” the short film from S.A. writer Barry Cree tells the comedic tale of friendship at its laziest and things only get funnier when the newly transformed and slightly annoyed Sock try’s score himself a beer.
